For this show (Seattle Rocks the Runway 2013), I put my tripod up high, and stood on a step-ladder in order to shoot over the heads of photographers.
The models often walk very quickly, so I shot portions of this at 120 frames per second. This slowed down movement to 25% of normal. I alternated this with normal speed shots, and some that I sped up.
The runway shots are interspersed with behind-the-scenes (BTS) shots of models getting their hair and make-up done. I always try to do this – I feel it adds texture and context.
